June 30, 2007: Hahaha well it was a fun month! So last weekend was Gay Pride weekend up here in San Francisco. It was my first time actually attending a lot of the events and by actually living here in the city, it was a lot more fun (hehe can walk everywhere!). On Friday night I went out for an hour or so in the Castro and just wandered around for a bit, taking in the sites and the sound of all the new people who were around. After a bit, I grabbed a cab and headed out towards Bayshore where I met up with DJ Matt Consola. He was setting up for his big opening night event, Underworld. This turned out to be a ton of fun. Basically, it's a club event where everyone who enters strips down to their underwear and then dances the night away to some kick as toons! Hahaha, well the event started at 10:00 and by 11:30 the place was packed and hopping! I was in the DJ booth with Matt and by midnight, I said "what the heck" and stripped down to my boxers and went out on the dance floor. LOL it was a ton of fun! Within a few minutes I met up with a few cute guys and we began dancing. One in particular latched onto me and we ended up dancing the entire night together. We were the last ones off the dance floor at 5:00 AM! Hehehehe it was a ton of fun! If you've ever seen Queer as Folk and one of the club parties there, well it was EXACTLY like that :P Fun fun fun!

On Saturday I got up around 11:00 AM and Matt and I walked down to the Civic Center (about a 20 min walk from where we live). We checked out the fair there and amongst the various vendors, I got to meet Joe Phillips. I was psyched! I have 3 original pieces of his hanging up in my place and though we had talked on the phone, we did not have a chance to meet in person until then. It was a pleasure to meet him in person! Matt would end up spinning at one of the local DJ areas for most of the afternoon and his partner Ian came down about 1/2 way through the day. We all grabbed a few beers and hung out for a bit before finally heading back to our building around 6:00 pm. We all rested up and then headed out to Castro around 8:00 pm for the big Pink Saturday gathering. My friends Ben and Chad ventured up for the night and joined us. We grabbed some beers and wandered into crowd. LOL as usual there were lots of characters to be seen and everyone seemed to have a good time. We'd end up sticking around until around 11:00 PM before I finally gave in to being tired and headed home for some sleep.

The next day, I slept in late and then picked up my friend Matt Hull from the airport. I hung out w/him for a bit before I headed back into the city where I'd end up meeting up with a bunch of the guys down in the Castro for a few drinks. We'd hang out there until the early evening before I finally called it a night.

It was a really fun weekend and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year :)

The following weekend was Alex Hutchenson's bachelor party. On Thursday his friend Stryker flew in from OH. I picked him up from the airport and he and I hung out for the afternoon/evening. Since Alex had some other plans going that night, Styker crashed at my place and then next morning, we headed up to Brentwood to meet up with Alex and the rest of the crew. The day was a fun one! Starting around 2:00 pm, we kicked off the official beer pong tournament. It was me, Alex's Dad (Al), his brother, Simon, Matt, Stryker, & Kwazi. LOL it went until 10 pm where finally, Alex took the title of champion. Well, that led right into our TX Hold'em Tournament which went on until 2 AM and at the end of that, yours truly walked away champion on the night!

LOL we'd all crash out around 3 AM and get up around 10 or so. After slowly waking up and getting our bearings, we headed out for breakfast. After filling ourselves up, it was back to the house for a bit of golf on the XBox 360 for some while others of us crashed out on the floor for a nap. Around 1 pm we headed out towards Fremont where we would spend a fun filled hour Indy Go-Kart racing. Afterwards, it was up to San Francisco where we checked in at the "W". We all showered up and then met in the lobby for a drink and then walked to a fantastic restaurant for dinner. After that, we piled into our waiting limousine and it was off to the bars for a night of drinking and hanging out. All in all, a good time was had by all!

The next day, Stryker and I would hang out for a bit before I took him to the airport where he caught his flight home. It was a fun filled weekend and LOL I think I'm gonna need to take a bit of a break sometime soon :P

June 14, 2007: Well June has been a pretty busy month! It started off with a visit out to North Carolina where I got to spend some time with Travis "Shoebox" Nelsen. Just getting to hang out with my brother is a treat and that's pretty much what we did for a few days. Heheh, one day I watched the entire series of "Firefly" (which wasn't hard since there was only one season). Damn! What an awesome series! It's a shame that it got cancelled after one one season. And yes, for you fans out there, we did watch Serenity as well :) Other than just hanging out and enjoying each other's company we didn't do a heck of a lot but that was just fine. Like I said, just good have my brother back around :)

The following weekend Rob and Susan has their spring BBQ so I donned by chef's hat and manned the grill! As usual, the weather was perfect and so was the cooking :P It was a small crew of only about 20 people and a fun time was had by all.

This past weekend, I went down to Woodland Hills (just outside of LA) to visit Adam "Skinny Dog" Arnold. We had a great time hanging out together. We hung out Friday night and Saturday we went out to breakfast at Pat's and then spent most of the day down in Santa Barbara down on the beach. That night we we met up with his brother Michael and went to see a sneak peak screening of Ratatouille (which was awesome! thank you Pixar for this terrific movie!). I took off Sunday morning, drove back up to the Bay Area and stopped in San Jose for a wonderful dinner at Matt Consola's parents place. Mmmmmm, nothing like a 5 course Italian meal and some great company to top of a great weekend :)

Now last night, was freaking awesome!!!!!! Ben Daniels and I went to see Roger Waters at the Oakland Arena. This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to!!!!! Roger Waters outdid himself on this tour! The stage was absolutely amazing, the music (and the sound in the arena) was fantastic, and the special effects, outstanding!!!! LOL can you tell I enjoyed myself!?!?! LOL I've still got a grin on my face :)

This coming weekend is San Francisco Gay Pride and I'm kinda looking forward to it. It'll be the first pride event that I really get to attend and I'm right around the corner from all of the festivities! LOL should make for a fun weekend :)

The following weekend is Alex Hutchenson's bachelor party. LOL it's a three day event starting on Friday and going through Sunday. I believe we are having a BBQ and night of Beer Pong/TX Hold 'Em on Friday night, Indy go-kart racing on Saturday, a night of bar hopping in a limo and staying at the W in San Francisco that night, and recovering on Sunday :) LOL zomg, should be a ton of fun!

And then it will be July!

I hope all is well in your world. Drop a line and say hi!
