May 26, 2000:  The Kibbles and Bits section has been updated with quotes from Richard Bach's "Illusions:  The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah." (and special thanks to Brian Mobbs who some time agao ago, shared this tome of knowledge with me...).  Check it out!

May 25, 2000:  I had a very good trip back East last week, which allowed me to see many people of whom I haven't seen in a long while.  If time permitted, there would have been many more that I would have liked to have visited, but there are only so many minutes in a day.  While I was back, I am thankful to have seen or spoken to Eric & Crissy, Becky & Lisa, Graham, Justin, Dad, Noni, Susan, Michael, my brother Tim, Adam & Ginny, Tim & Joy, Paul, Cecilia, Barbara, Stanley, Sean, Tab, Patno, Jason, Dustin, Alex, Macky & Heather... and  thanks to Hertz and their unlimited miles plan which allowed me to put over 1300 miles on the rental in 8 days!

Destiny/FateRight now, I'd like to take a moment to tell you about a wonderful woman of whom I have the pleasure of knowing.  Her name is Sasha Walker.    She's the kind of person, who at age 24, is so full of life that when you are with her, you can't help but think that she's a wise old soul, born again.  She touched my life in a positive manner of which I will always cherish and hold dear, and never forget.

Today, Sasha ended her battle with liver cancer... and she has moved on to the next great adventure, beyond this life.  I know that her spirit will continue to bring beautiful moments to all the lives she has touched, and to all of those that she's yet to meet....

In tribute to Sasha...

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Whatever we were to each other, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name;
speak to me in the same easy way you always have;
laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it always was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
just around the corner.

All is well.

Nothing is past, nothing has been lost.
One brief moment, and all will be as it was before - only better,
infinitely happier.

We will be one, together forever

and so, for  now, I will close.

Carpe' Diem; horam vivere... Seize the day, live for the moment... follow the path of your true heart.

All the best,

May 8, 2000:  Life is good and I'm keeping busy.  Had nice weekend, even though it rained!

I've updated the April journal with more picts from the Yosemite trip.  I've also added a couple more picts to the album~Penz

May 1, 2000:  And so we enter the month of May, and another year is almost half over!

I had a great week last week.  Monday  - Wednesday, I was down in Aptos as the Quintus Leadership Conference which was held in Aptos, CA at the Seascape Resort.  Talk about a gorgeous place!  The food, lodging and location were also top notch, not to mention the actual seminar.  Hehehehe, I learned a lot about my style of management and ways that I can better improve it.  Among other things, I took the Meyers Briggs test.  For those of you who know what that is, I'm a ENFP (Extraverted Intuitive Feeling Percetpive).

On Thursday, it was back to work and I just took it easy on Thursday night.  On Friday, my friend Vince and I went out and saw U-571.  What a cool movie!  If you like WWII submarine flicks, this is a must see!  On Saturday, my buddy Chris "Coyote" Bride and I went to the Great America theme park.  We had a really good time.  Due to the crazy lines, we only went on two roller coasters, but that was ok w/me.  Hehehe, the best one was Vertigo and it was crazy fun!  I screamed like a little girl, and then laughed my ass off for about 10 minutes (just happy to be alive!) :-)  Hahah, we both had a nice time, and got some good sun that day.

On Sunday, I met up with Chris Morton and his friend Phillip.  Phillip was over from Germany for a visit and we spent a fun morning together having brunch with a few of Chris's other friends.
On April 26, my 'little' brother turned 28!  Hehehe, I can't belive this puppy is another year older.  Hard to believe that I'm going to be 30 this year!  Well, here's a great shot of my dad, Tim, Auntie Susan and my grandmother aka Noni, on Tim's birthday.  Ain't this a great shot!?!  Happy Birthday bro... I miss and love you dearly!!
