A
loving dedicated father who had the spirit of a puppy,and
the wisdom of an old dog...
This
is my father, Rodney Penziner. This picture was taken
back in December of 1998. Hehehe, you gotta love that
beard. It is so cool and for some reason, reminds me
of a badger! Hehehehe.... ahh well, that's Dad, always
making me smile.
Dad
was born on February 13, 1942 and on May 10, 2001, he transitioned
on to his next great adventure. He leaves behind him a
legacy in his three children: Scott, Tim and Gini who
will each carry with them, the loving memory of their father.
The love for his children and for his friends and family, could
easily be summed up by this one line from Shakespeare's Othello:
"Remember
me as one that loved not wisely, but too well."
Dad,
I know that we'll try our best to learn from the lessons that
you taught us, and I know that you'll be watching over us and
guiding us during the times we forget.
Dad
is also survived by Sarah Penziner (mother), Susan Lipton and
Bernice Bornstein (sisters). His father Jacob Penziner passed
away a few months after he did.
